Record Sound Directly From Computer?
Does anybody know a good program that can record sound directly from the computer without having to hold a microphone up to the speakers and get fuzzy quality? Like say i wanted to record sound from a youtube video. I just downloaded a program called... SoundTap but when i went to install it i got a message saying that its trying to do something to the hardware and now or in the future may wreck the system. Anyone know a good program? Windows Media Player Plays All Video In Full Screen
I have a problem with my windows media player. It plays all videos in full screen mode. The media player does not show any menu bars etc when it starts playing video. hence I cannot reduce the size. I have tried pressing Alt + enter looking through options like video size, zoom etc, but to no luck. Even try uninstalling and reloading different version but in all case the problem persists. I have used ver. 9, 10 11 (beta). All versions are giving problems. Any help is appreciated.
Ok, for Christmas, I got an iPod nano 3rd generation. (The wide one). The day after, I downloaded iTunes 7.5 (Only took about 4 hours with my dial-up). Anyway, I put all my songs onto it, but I wanted the album art, too (My Cover Flow's a little... Bland). So I tried downloading it with itunes, but I get an error... I am an amateur filmmaker, and I desperately need a video editing program that can reverse video. I have tried using Fade to Black, which can reverse video, but when I mix down to an .avi, the file is glitchy and I lose a lot of frames. Does anyone know of any software that can reverse video but still retain the quality of the original video, sans glitches? Thanks.

I have a Realtek onboard 'sound card'. When I installed the driver, configuration utility, and other such odds and ends, it also installed something called "AvRack", with some shortcuts. I have no idea what it is, and by running it I only get the impression that it's some kind of audio player. Could someone give me some more detail as to what it's supposed to be and do?

Has anyone here tried Windows Media Player 11 Beta? It sounds quite good and i'm in the process of downloading it at the moment but it's just a bit over 20 megabites so it might take a while. Anyone got any feedback on it? Is it good? Better than the previous versions? I just update ffdshow and xvid codec a few days ago. And I found that Windows Movie Maker will be closed automatically when I edit WMV file with it. it did not show any error messages. m trying to find a better media player than WMP, mainly for audio/music. Divx player plays almost all types of movie files including .avi. It plays them much better than a normal player like winamp, or windows media player. The sound is also significantly better. Hi, I recently downloaded an NVIDIA DVD decoder on my laptop, but when I try to watch a DVD, the picture appears pixelated unless I fast-forward or rewind. How can I convert an avi file encoded with RM codecs (real media) to a DivX avi file ? I would like to be able to read it on a stand-alone avi reader. Virtualdub says "cannot determine file type" and Imtoo rm converter simply freezes, using no cpu and no disk.
I found nero to be pretty good for burning disks. It's easy to find the type of cd your going to burn in its little StartSmart directory. As for cd ripping, i'm still searching . Camcorder Video Capture Program
I have a handful of mini DV tapes and couldn't find a quick way to transfer them to my laptop. I found a free program to do it (forgot the name) and it seems to do the job, but it was really slow. I think it was real-time video transfer. Is there a program out there that can transfer video from a camcorder to computer without taking too long? I mean, real-time is just a killer Thanks.

How To Create JPG Slideshows On DVD?
I would like to give my JPG pictores to somebody who has no PC. My aunt only has a standard DVD player (an old one, no DVD) connected to her TV. Is there an open-source or a freeware tool creating a slide-show from a set of JPG pictures and converting to DVD format so it can be watched on a standard stand-alone DVD connected to a TV ?
